Autism Speaks is an organization that is striving to make leaps and bounds into researching autism and providing support for those who suffer from, and families affected by autism. We know so much more about autism now, and in the past ten years, than ever before. Autism Speaks strives to provide early diagnosis and early intervention. They also provide financial support if need, as well as many other ways of helping.

This Saturday, March 28th, there is a great opportunity to learn more about autism, as well as help families affected by autism. A Chili Cook-off will be held at the Water Valley Park. Entry fee is $20.00 to compete (chili grind only), and your entry will be turned in at 2:00 p.m. Anyone and everyone is invited to come out and compete. You don't have to be a world class chef to come out, have fun, and enjoy some great company.

If you don't feel like cooking, you can judge if you'd like! The only requirements a judge has is to be over 18 years old and not have any food allergies that might be triggered by tasting all the delicious chili entries. Oh! Of course, you must love eating chili. If you are interested in judging just make sure you are there before turn in time at 2:00 p.m.. Brush up on your chili cooking skills, and visit Casi Chili.

While the chili cook-off is happening, there will be a cake auction and a 50/50 drawing, and all proceeds will benefit Autism Speaks.
